Over the years, Head Start has experienced tremendous growth in all areas of service delivery. Consequently, programs seek quality resources and breakthrough information, products and services to meet their present and emerging needs. RIVHSA actively seeks innovative partnerships opportunities with private, public, and government sector entities. Partnerships amplify our mutual interests and success while also increasing awareness of what we do best - prepare today’s students for tomorrow. From our Program Assistance Fund to the Awards/Scholarship program, RIVHSA also uses initiatives to drive performance and recognize achievements of our membership.
Awards and Scholarships Program
RIVHSA recognizes the outstanding contributions and achievements of regional individuals, programs, and organizations with the presentation of awards and scholarships in both regional and national categories. RIVHSA’s application process has three distinct phases – local, state, regional, and national! At the conclusion of each phase, the most competitive nominees advance to the next level. Each year, RIVHSA honors its regional recipients at a recognition program typically held in conjunction with our annual conference.
The Office of Head Start uses the monitoring review process to assess grantee operation and performance and continuous program improvement. RIVHSA launched the Program Assistance Fund (PAF) exclusively for our member agencies to promote review readiness or facilitate post-review compliance for our members expecting a review in the current fiscal year. Eligible grantees may receive financial reimbursement up to $1500 for training and technical assistance services received.
RIVHSA is committed to telling your collective story in a compelling manner through direct campaigns, government relations strategists, multi-level networks, and coalitions with shared interests to achieve results.
